Family Course Offers! - Easter & Summer
Now the whole family can enjoy and English language and leisure programme at Atlantic School of English and Active Leisure in the beautiful village of Schull, West Cork, Ireland.
It couldn't be easier - we have a year round Adult school but we also run a separate Junior School at Easter & summer time . And they are located only a few minutes walk away from each other right in the middle of the small, lively and safe village of Schull, next to the Atlantic ocean. Parents can walk with younger students to the junior school which they attend from 9.30 - 6pm Monday to Friday with excursion on Saturdays and then in another few minutes they arrive at the adult school to start their daily programme.
Parents can attend a General or Specialist/Business English Programme combined with an optional leisure programme at our Adult school meanwhile their children aged 10 - 17 years old can enjoy Atlantic SEAL's unique language and leisure programme from 9.30 - 5.30pm daily. There is an excursion every Saturday too. IF the children are younger than 10 - don't worry! - In 2007 we even accommodated much younger learners of English (5years+) and we are happy to design the programme to suit each family's needs.
Parents and children can stay with a local host family or they can rent a beautiful holiday cottage or apartment by the sea, in the nearby countryside or in the village centre.
......and here is something new for 2008! - if the family wishes to live independently but mum or dad would like a rest & a break from cooking - we can arrange for a local cook to come and cook dinner for them each evening! This way the whole family still experiences a 'taste' of the Irish way of life and continue their language practice after school. And it's much cheaper than eating out in restaurants. You can choose to have someone cook for you each evening or perhaps only weekday evenings.
There are special ‘Family Booking’ Discounts of between 5-10%. However as Schull is a small but popular harbourside village & these programmes are getting more an more popular and take more arranging than individual reservations, we highly recommend early booking to avoid disappointment. Our policy at Atlantic S.E.A.L is to keep overall numbers strictly low and there is a limit to the number of suitable holiday homes and host families available.
